Add the 7500 and Illinois 4000 credit for 11500 combined with the 6 to 7k off your talking almost 20k off a brand new i3 !!

Makes the price about that of a Mini Cooper

The discount is before incentives and rebates? So they are selling below invoice? $2k below??

Yea they got money from BMW to credit them as their selling far below invoice and basically not making any profit off the sale. I think their margin they said was around 7% normally. The average discount is 6% right now leaving 1% profit margin.

The extra money from BMW allowed them to sell their 2014 stock for under dealer cost. Invoice is not dealer cost. So don't base anything off invoice numbers. Right now their selling all 2014 model years for 6 to 7 k off MSRP.

They said for 2015 the numbers will be reduced as BMW are rethinking their strategy for North America this will hopefully reduce the large number of unsold I3's and reduce future incentives as BMW does not like giving incentives
