Hello all, just wondering what the difference is between the ambient lighting in the 3 different interior levels ? I've remember some saying only the mid and upper trim options had ambient lighting in the interior and during my extended test drive I had the base interior but it to had ambient lighting in the floor and door handles.

Anybody have any experience in knowing if USA spec cars had any difference in the 3 different trim levels.

Where is the ambient lighting coming from? On the base model it comes from the door lever pockets and under the nav screen I'm wondering if their are different or more locations depending on the trim level. Just curious.

So went to the dealer and found out only the dark brown leather interior comes with full ambient lighting in the doors vs the other two inteirior options.

The Tera world gives you the ambient lighting in the door pocket and door pull cup. Where the other two interior options do not have this option.

However the door pocket does have the recess for the LED strip.
If money was no object you could retrofit it from the door panels from a purchased set but would cost in the thousands. ...... Oh well.
