2014 BMW i3 Sulfur (rotten eggs) smell.

Hey Guys,

We have purchased a used i3 a few years ago. 10k mile later we've noticed a Sulfur (rotten eggs) odor time to time in the garage.
It comes and goes. That happens when we charge and when the vehicle just sitting in the garage.

The i3 has been keeping the change as it should and there are no warnings when we run the system check in the computer.

Any of you folks experience anything similar to our situation? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

That's normally associated with a bad battery. I'd have it checked out right away. You don't want to get stranded or worse induce thermal runaway.

Mystery solved. A12V Battery from the front got fried. Got a spare for $200. Car seems to be working fine.
