Rubber matts for fall/winter

I am starting to get scared that BMW wont offer rubber matts before winter and in 2 months this country is a mess of snow and mud and the current carpets will be destroyed. I would not rather use my Porsche carpets, that fit perfectly btw, any ideas where to get perfect fits?

Yes, look up Lloyd mats, they make custom mats, including rubber ones.

http://lloydmats.com/mat-materials/r...s-trucks-suvs/

And here is an online dealer where I ordered the i3 version from:

http://www.carid.com/2015-bmw-i8-flo...rers%5B0%5D=77

They should fit perfectly as they are custom made to the car.

Oh that's the complimentary tray from BMW to wring out your wet socks. Yes, they thought of everything, except for the essentials!

Wendy's or Dunkin' Donuts? Either way, class joints to go to in an i8!

Would you buy rubbertite, North Ridge or Clear Protector? Any pics?

Seems black rubbertite is the way to go...

Finally here. Fit nicely, but 2 complaints. There is no cutout for the bulge in the front, but there is a cutout in the rear??! Also the locks holding the matts in place are twice as long as the originals, so they dont lock the matts in place very well. However, they dont slide even when not locked, so not a big issue. The styling could also be more stylish, but acceptable.

Whatever you do, avoid LLoyd matts and CARid. The matt fasteners they send are too long and fall off everytime the matt moves. They refuse to help in any way when I complained claiming no other BMW owners complained. Check the photo and you decide if I complain without any reason! Horrible customer service. Just wanted to warn other members!!! I know I didnt complain earlier as the matts dont slide when in garage, but once they are cold, they start sliding and the stupid fasteners roll under your seat etc. Annoying!

Mine won't even see the snow..Garage kept all snow season. Forget that. Not risking it. To many people drive crazy as hell in the winter still & slide rite into people all day long.

We have, "Winter". It last from 10 to 15 days.
That said, we have rain similar to that which Noah experienced. The mats are critical.

Our winter usually lasts for less than 2 days. So I can drive it all year long. Our friends in Scandinavia find it to be a good winter driver so they drive it all year long too.
