i3s 120Ah - obd2 adapter sets off alarm

Hi,

I just got a VGate iCar Pro 4.0 obd2 adapter. My main intended use is to use it with the "Electrified" Android app to feed live battery state info into "A better route planner".

I tried it out and it works well:

BUT: I got back home and locked the car and the alarm went off.

Reading around seems like this is a security feature - the presence of the obd2 dongle makes the alarm go off. Apparently I need to do this:

Code:
Look in the fzd ecu, there is an odb alarm code there that you need to set to 00
Since I didn't "code" before - what app do I need to do this? Will Bimmercode allow me to do this?

What are other obd2 apps that work well with the i3?

Thanks,
Elbow

Fixed

To answer my own questions: Bimmercode "expert mode" exposes this parameter and my car alarm is now happily silent.
