Remember the BMW stereotype is "somewhat" true. Otherwise it wouldn't be a stereotype.

It's very odd... The amount of little girl bickering and silly shit that goes on.
Figure you get a bunch of Type A's buying for the emblem, then you stir in a mix of lucky kids, and actual driving enthusiasts, Both of which enjoy poking fun at the type A's. (Theory) Either Way, you've got a mix of High strung folks that are passionate about cars and most likely everything else they do and... BOOM!

It's easy to see why a newbie coming on the forum posting a thread with a question as trivial as "how much hp does the 335 put to the wheels?" would get flamed. They think their question has never been asked before.

Well, I've always been wanting to ask if I should get a 335i ?
You see, I'm 18 and I wonder if this car is too much for me? I've of course driven my dad's E55 AMG and my mom's S8, but I wonder if I can handle the 335i. About upkeep, is it enough that I make 100k a year and 30k in bonuses? I've been doing sales since I'm 16yo, but I guess I cannot budget the car. Seriously, this is a genuine question, please respond kindly. |

Wow Yet ANOTHER Asshole From Cali. Shame that you have to come out here in a public forum and make it even less than it was, thereby creating your own little self fulfilling prophecy and being a complete dick!
Sorry there, Little guy it's gotta suck to be you. Yeah You're the problem Blue, back under your Bridge...

I still think of myself as a "newbie". One thing I learned really fast was the button. Before I post anything on here I go to the button. My hell 90% of my questions have been answered many many times. I get really tired of seeing the same question asked over and over again. I just keep my comments to my self. The more I'm on here the closer I get to saying some stupid remarks also.

the only problem is, and for once i am being serious in this board, is that many people on here don't know how to search correctly. meaning, the negation of keywords for "can i fit the e92 AeRo LiP oN mY HoOd?" instead i think this thread should be a sticky.

its true though, and not just on e90post.com
this kind of thing happens on every single internet forum, because people dont have to back up anything that they type. i come here a lot, mostly just to read, there are a few other webforums i go to, and they are all the same, a bunch of people that are too afraid to talk big in real life go on the internet and flame away at people that just want answers to their questions or make fun of them for the comments that they post. i would be willing to bet that if you took all the replies to questions on this site that most of them have somekind of "what are you an idiot" response to them. just my 2 cents.... Flame away
