This week we worked really hard to find our issue regarding the tire blistering.
Won't be easy for us in Spain with the heat , so we will see if there is improvement...

In Spain the Mercs will run like usual to P1 & P2 in the QF .
But during the race they will meet "33"

Mate . That doesn't really matter , as we know the asfalt in Spain will be even hotter and the Pirelli's softer .
The Mercs will chew through the rubber anyway , followed by rubber delamination causing blisterings and steering wheel vibrations .
While the clock is ticking...

HAM requested the FIA to make a new regulation regarding the obligation to make at least 2 pitstops .
Finish a race with only 1 pitstop should be banned .

Of course.....

That's right, danger to driver and others and flailing rubber getting everywhere if it's messy.

Agree, they seem to have disappeared..it's something that could have saved Senna's life back then if it worked properly. Even now wheels work themselves loose just after pit stop!

There's 3 tethers actually not one in case one fails there's another one and another one. They're inside 3 of the suspension arms. Usually (but it's different from team to team) they are in one of the lower wishbone arms, one of the upper wiahbone arms, and in the pushrod.

Just saw pic of one, the steel cable passing through it, must be tricky making it then positioning and having it taut without interfering with the handling and steering, no wonder F1 is mega expensive even without the engine.

It's beautiful when how it's built. It's not steel though. It's the same material body armors are woven out of (not Kevlar).

i really dont understand whats going on with Albon's car.. his 3rd turbo of this season seems like bolted on this week.. this means he ll have grid penalties maybe starting from next race if he needs another one.. something is not fair with Albon's car..
