Does anyone think a desert RECIPE thread would fly?
I have 1/2 dozen good ones, some from Granny that should be shared.

I can start tonight with my 'original' margarita recipe....

Having a friend over dinner. Sirloin , fries and a salad from my garden with a hard apple cider form a local distillery.

Traveled to Ithaca, NY to take my incoming Freshman to college. Was walking around downtown looking for dinner and randomly popped into Mercato Bar & Kitchen. Had a really enjoyable meal. Had a couple of handmade margaritas that were very satisfying along with a hanger steak, shoestring fries and sautéed spinach that really hit the spot.

While doing an orientation in a campus library, we ran into this vending machine......hmmmm.....better not be hungry when these are the offerings....
