Im selling my v1 v1.7 and some guy wants to trade me a 10" cvr sub and a memphis 800 watt mono amp + wiring kit. What do you guys think yes or no?

Im got offers for 200 on the valentine one.. wouldn't mind having the sub tho.

what? no don't do it. the V1 can save you hundreds, if not thousands on tickets and headaches and shit.

I should have specified.. Either way I'm getting rid of the valentine one for now and buying the newer version v1.8 in the near future.

No point changing from 1.7 to 1.8.

I use to have both V1 1.7 and 1.8. I got sick of the annoying false alarms. 1.8 is just for POP/Euro mode.

I have 9500ix equipped on all of my cars now. No false alarms/accurate MPH display/lock out unwanted false/mute button/red light camera alert and many other features.

Though you do lose the arrows but it was a good trade off for all those functions IMO.

I hear you, 1.8 is also a little slimmer (which I like). In the long run it comes down to preference and I am partial to the valentine's.
