New 5th Generation iPhone Early As 2011 January...

iclarified always seems to be head on & reliable and i don't doubt it either. although the iphone 4 came out today i guess i will be waiting a bit more to see what happens near january and stick with my 3g for now...

from iclarified: Apple is reportedly pushing up the release date of the fifth-generation iPhone to early 2011 (as soon as January) due to antenna issues with the iPhone 4. It’s unclear if the iPhone components will be repackaged into a difference shell. iLounge finds this one hard to believe.

ah i saw the 9800 too but i don't like slider phones. the new os 6 looks nice as well...

I guess you didn't see the part in bold. There is no way this will happen. Put this in the same file as "Verizon getting a iPhone."

I will be in the market for a new phone around then - however I'm not quite sold on what Apple has done so far this year, would have to be a major improvement for me to stick with them

Haha. The iPhone 4 has been out for a while now bud. My buddies kid told said that they has antenna issues with the iPhone 5 too and it won't get out of testing. They are going to release the iPhone 6 on US Cellular in a couple months though.
