What's coming after the i8? - Interview
After interviewing BMWs head of product development Klaus Froehlich the Autocar.co.uk Website gives you an imagination how BMW want to develop the i8.
A McLaren killer... ...but not before 2023! Would be nice if they do so - time will tell. |

Looks are unknown, but the concept and target are sound
Good too that they are targeting the current performance benchmark, McLaren. Although, McLaren will have their own hybrid model out by 2022. 1,000bhp is easily within reach though for a hybrid. The catch is it will cost circa £250,000. IMHO Autocar are wrong to estimate it at circa £150,000. |
