Possibly new owner

Hello all, hopefully I will be a proud owner of an i3 soon. I am eyeing on a 2015 BMW i3 Giga with Parking Assistance Package & Tech + Driving Assist Package and 22k on the clock for $18,300. Is there anything to look for specifically for 2015 model? Is 2014 better or 2016? I am new to this so forgive my ignorance. It's not REX, I will be using it within 25 mile radius and might put less than 300 miles a week so I don't want to deal with putting gas again, my X5 is enough hopefully my last gas car. I heard about the range anxiety but I'm not too worried about it since like I mentioned, I will do short distances only. I am surprised how the depreciation on these are so drastic only few years, wow. I am not worried about that though and intend it to keep just like my 11 year old X5.

I still have my X5 and still on that section here which I am familiar with and do all maintenance and mods except coding.

Thank you in advance guys!

The 2015 has about a 70-80 mile range. The 2017 was increased to 114-120 miles. I had a 2015 REx and it still had the old iDrive which doesn't have CarPlay. Other than that, I loved it. If that's all you are going to drive it for you should be fine.

Thank you so much! I might end up getting a REX instead due to availability of packages I was looking for.

Question, I ran decoder for the VIN and does not show anything that about Driving Assistance. Does the button below the hazard proves that it does?

What feature are you looking for? The adaptive cruise is obvious when looking at the steering wheel. There will be following distance buttons on the inner section of the left wheel arm panel. The button in the middle with the circle around the car is the collision detection system. AFAIK they come with all i3's.

The dealership sent me a more complete list from their database. I see it now -> S5ATA Driving Assistant Plus. Not all i3s have the button and not sure if CD is standard like what you said on all i3s. Also, I was able to download a manual based on the VIN so it's all good. Thank you though!
