BIMMERCODE OBD Adapters

I just ordered a Vgate iCar WiFi adapter to use with BIMCODE. I was reading some reviews and it appears to work inconsistently with BIMCODE on the i3. Who is using what brand adapter that has successfully allowed you to code with BIMCODE?

This is what I've been using, works well. They also had a firmware update that I emailed the company about, and they were quick to provide the update files. support@veepeak.com

I've been successful with the Veepeak mentioned above on my i3, my M3, and my buddy's 3 series. No problems.

Same here with Veepeak. Just out of curiosity has anyone coded default driving mode set to Eco Pro?

Yes.

Using ODB2<->Ethernet plug and coding with eSys, not via 3rd party apps.

More info here (remove everything between <>, else this forum garbles links):

I coded my i3 with the several features including the tank capacity of the Rex. I set it to 8.5 liters and now I get a Driver restraint system warning. I changed to the capacity to 8.0 liters about a month ago and it seemed to have cleared the error, but just today it came back. Has this happened to anyone? I emailed bimmmercode customer support, but they said that none of the codings would have triggered the error.

P0604 Fault Code

I ran a diagnostics and this code came up P0604 - Internal Control Module Random Access Memory (RAM) error. Reading up a little on this code indicates readings from the engine, but since the ReX is not a necessarily a full-fledged engine is it normal to get this P0604 code error?

OBDLink MX+ with BimmerCode on Android with my BMW i3

It seems like my Android phone will not stay connected by Bluetooth to my OBDLink MX+ when plugged into my i3. It stays connected in my Subaru. Anyone have any ideas?

I use an Iphone 10 and veepeak adaptor with bimmercode. I can also connect to the F350 using another ODBII app and to other cars as well for basic trouble code reading. The veepeak adaptor stays connected all the time to many different makes of cars and trucks..
