I’ve never been able to get through a single one of their videos. They talk too much and they’re too busy playing around with their walkie-talkies.

I really enjoyed the video, it was both interesting, fun too watch and entertaining, definately more than just the numbers. Most U-tube videos are designed not to be dull but somewhat entertaining IMO.

I guess some people just have attention span or OCD issues. The best answer for that is find the specs and just look at the numbers on an Excel spreadsheet.

Any review that thinks a $110,000+ BMW iX M60 is in the same category as a Kia or Tesla Model 3....I cannot watch. Rubbish! And I like Matt W. too; he's actually my fav UK auto reviewer!

I don't think their drag test are anything more than entertainment. Sometimes, their numbers are really off. I remember a drag race with a TT-RS being over 1 second slower than the 1/4 mile of motortrend test (and Car and driver numbers were still lower).

This would be true if Matt didn’t rinse repeat the same old, boring template. For me, there is zero joy I get or new things I learn watching Car Wow junk.

With the prevailing mediocrity in the entertainment world, Carwow videos provide substantial entertainment value. Yet another great video unlikely to influence future buyers (and this is clearly not the intent).

Matt - please film another drag race video comparing JAS39 Gripen with a custom 8-wheel BMW iX M60 made from 2 ix M60 chassis platforms.

Case in point the Tesla Model X was clocked at 12.5 seconds despite doing 11.3 in a previous test. It’s so obvious when things aren’t ‘right’ but they never bother to stop and address things. They discredit themselves unfortunately. Don’t get me started on their brake tests. Nothing numerical, just flakey estimates.

It’s not a review, it’s a drag race (and a poor one at that)

Nobody's commenting on the mediocre performance of the M60, I expect more from BMW, how much slower is the regular iX??

It has been clocked at mid 11s. Perhaps the battery charge was low, or they didn't use launch control? Maybe the i4 M50 would have been better competition, especially in the 30 roll on, up to the speed governor that is. TFL had a race between the Model 3p and i4 M50. In their test the Tesla got the low end jump but the BMW was definitely gaining, hence I would love to see a 50mph roll with the Model 3P, as they rarely achieve the 120mph trap speed of the M50.

What a horror show & the BMW is the worst.
I realize EV’s are targeted to a completely different demographic but still don’t understand why they have to look like absolute shit.

For those quibbling over minor discrepancies in performance numbers, you have to have an understanding of how these things work. A prepped drag strip in 75 degree weather with a full charge and new tires will be vastly different from a test on a regular road with a lower level of charge and tires that aren't factory fresh. And let's face it, it's very rare that cars are driving on a full charge in ideal conditions. These "pull up and floor it" tests are much more representative of what most owners will experience.

Those drag race videos are entertaining, but certainly not at all relevant when grading the cars. That they add the rolling race and an indicative brake test, is not really making things better. I presume that Matt perfectly agrees with this statement.

I gotta be honest, I feel like their drag races are now coming “see who has the bigger mouth” because they talk a lot before the race start. Before it was just cars and their powertrains, now it’s a minute long chit chat, complaining about soft limiter (I get why but the car still makes a noise….) and then racing. I wish it was like before.

It's comedy plain and simple. And that's why no one on here complained about the M60 numbers.
