As others have mentioned Chalk can vary under different lighting conditions but it is really an amazing color, in my opinion, and compliments the lines of the M5 exceptionally well.

I dig Chalk except on a Porsche; only because I feel it’s been done ad nauseam. Looks real good on a BMW because it’s unexpected.

Yeah, I guess it kind of looks like a light tan next to a true white. I like Fashion Gray more than Chalk. But Chalk is very nice.

Chalk (Crayon) is a stunning color - in person - and works differently depending on the car. It looks meh on say, a large SUV, but looks stunning on a curvy car that is a bit aggressive like a GT3. I would not get it on a M50 though as I think the car is a little big for it, has too many dark vents going on, etc.

Then again, I see a Taycan in chalk and I turn around, every time.

Must be seen in person. Crayon/tartufo is a hell of a classy combo though.
