Floor mats

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I am starting to pick up a few things pending arrival of my iX50 and was thinking about a nice set of floor mats, possibly Lloyds. What does BMW provide with the vehicle. Are they worth replacing? Lloyds shows the rear mats as two separate small mats. I would think the rear floor is flat all the way across and it should be a one piece. Also, any recommendations for a cargo liner
Thanks
Dave

Here are 2 companies to look at. F1 Mats and Tuxmat. Both are upmarket custom mat makers. Both are not cheap, but the customer service seems pretty good. I've spoken with both and ordered from F1.
I was going to wait for Tuxmat to release their mats for the IX but when I spoke to them recently they told me it will probably be months before they come to market. So I pulled the trigger and ordered F1 mats. In my case my IX has the diamond pattern leather seats, so as not to overwhelm the interior with diamonds I ordered the stripes version. I report back regarding my impressions when I have them. Probably can't go wrong with either as both seem ambitious in design details and originality like the IX - goes well with the IX imho.

I am just a caveman here... please don't judge me too harshly.

Looking at those mats-- do they continue up the... "sides" of the doors, too? it looks like there are "snaps" or buttons of some kind them as well. Please forgive my ignorance.

I'm looking at these too. If you have time, would you mind taking pix of them when you get them so we can see how well they fit? i'm especially excited for these custom fit ones that cover more area so there's less pet hair that gets everywhere. Thanks!

Love these mats especially the rear one piece but still in development stage. You can add your email to their waitlist & get notified when available.

Is the Lloyds two separate small mats for the rear. I want something that is going to have full coverage.

I ordered mats for our cayenne to test out the quality and fit. If it is good, I will order the mats for my incoming ix50.

On the website, it listed separate and uni-front rear options.

Yes, two separate smaller ones for the iX, unlike the X5.

I'd be happy to. I may have the mats before I have the car. Car should be ready to pick up within ten days or so but.. Che sarà sarà

xueju1121 I've been looking for a cubby container like you have in your trunk. Can you share where you got them from? Thanks!

I ordered ToughPRO from ebay, perfect fit.

The good thing about it is it being a single piece for both front and rear.

Unfortunately I don't think this type off mat will do much when your daughter accidentally drops a Frappuccino. Ask me how I know.

Is anyone aware of a trunk mat option that includes the cargo "fold"? All options I've seen pictures of, including the official BMW option, appear to just be single pieces that you would have to roll up to access the cargo area under the trunk floor.

The OEM trunk mat my dealer gave me does have a fold to allow for easy access to the area under the trunk.

3D Maxpider floor mats have been released for iX:

https://www.autoanything.com/floor-m...agu-floor-mats

(currently running 15% discount)

I ordered a set and will post pictures when they arrive. Had good experience with them in the past (much better than e.g. weathertech).
