Build journal for my 2018 ZCP M4
Hi guys, sorry no individual color or pts here but I am trying to build the best quality car I possibly can.
Car is a 2018 ZCP M4 AW/Red Manual Mods I started with: Ind cosmetics HRE p107 brushed gold wheels KW has Painted M splatter burger motorsports air intake and engine cover 3d design style carbon rear diffuser Fi exhaust ER downpipes As time went on I grew tired of the M performance front lip and rear wing. I also grew tired of the harassment from my friend @litcoin aka Dylan (M2 on brixton/bagged full carbon aero) lmao. I also wanted to change a few things that bugged me like the blue brakes with a AW/Red car just didn't work for me. So i'm in the process of getting my brakes powder coated metallic red. For the front lip I always wanted the gts lip but did not want to spend the money, because man oh man is it expensive lol. I kept searching bimmerpost till I came across a damaged one that I could refurbish. And for the rear wing I love the modecarbon high kick wing but It only comes 1x1 carbon so I had it painted body color and damn does it look good. Also waiting to go on is aw painted M performance side skirts. Back to the front lip anyone wondering what it takes to install an oem gts lip it requires a lot of modification and by that I mean cutting. Don't worry not anything on your pretty front bumper, just a lot of the under trays need to be cut to fit the brackets that hold up the lip. I asked a few shops and nada no response. IND has been the only shop to offer any insights and thank you for that. Like I said I did this in my garage at home. So I also have the carbon front upper splitters that come with the m performance front lip and tried to get the off for the gts lip to fit and I could not get it off so I had to make cuts on the bottom to get the gts lip to fit all the way up. I will add pictures. If you want to see anything specific just ask and I will try my best to post it. |

Your build gets a 10/10 from me!
The HRE P107 is one of the best looking but most underrated wheels of the decade and hasn't seen enough love from the F8X community. Can you post your wheel and tire specs? The paint-matched AW rear spoiler looks so good and I would love to see more photos to see how it looks from the rear. |
