The GLC63S coupe was a beast. Lots of torque, gobs of power and felt special with the AMG buckets. It rode pretty harshly, and felt like a big car.

The Macan GTS was like a 911 on stilts - the handling and feel was just on point. It’s engine and exhaust note were great, albeit different than the AMG. The steering was fantastic, ride was superb, and quality was a notch above.

Both really great cars, but I’d buy the GTS 9 times out of 10.

Thanks. I do love the Macan, and it definitely does some things better than the GLC, but that AMG V8 really is something. Merc is making a bold move going down in cylinders in the C63 if rumors are true, that V8 is really is their hallmark and why someone would really want an AMG over an M, RS, etc.

I'll have to get a GTS test drive once production resumes further as they are still lacking at dealers. I plan on probably getting Boxster 4.0 down the road as well so I always like to have a nice variety in the garage. Luckily have a good amount of time till my lease is up to make a decision.

jstein55 Where is the information that M-B is changing the number of cylinders on the C63?

So far just a rumor from possible insiders, unconfirmed, and hopefully untrue, but very plausible given EU regulations/environmental issues. We'll have to wait until more W206's are heard/seen testing.

Hey, I respect that comment. I AM indecisive this purchase.

I expect to go off the lot. I am now trying to decide if I am willing to own a black car. The one(s) with all the options and interior I want both come in black. And it is a beautiful metallic black also. Have to decide if I'm willing to wash a car more often than once a decade.

I'm sleeping on it and awaiting his next email. The salesman is a pro and I know I'll get a follow up email in a few days. When he does I'll see what price they can do as I'll know if I'm willing to live in a black car by then. MSRP is right around $77K and based on what I'm reading hearing a reasonable price is about $71.5K. Guessing if I wake up ready to deal with a black car and they do that price I'm in a new car before next weekend and returning my leased BMW early.

Weird the 1.9% interest rate is only for base unit Porsche. Not for the S class. Might just buy it. I am sitting out of the stock market and what the hell.

Lol same here, I have literally thought about and probably driven close to 10 vehicles all of different classes, size, and purpose for the last two months and have still yet made a decision of what I want. I am sure by next month I will have a new car that I will want.
