I was hoping that by now, someone has found which wire and where it can be found, goes from the fake sound generator to the speaker - and where to disconnect it!

Yes! I'm often in the same place at the same time as Randy so I end up on his videos. I am i8.pat on Instagram.

So the car sound like it runs in stealth mode (e drive) all the time?
That's not possible as it's coded in the Active Sound Design (ASD) modules and Bimmercode doesn't allow us to go in there and turn this off. I'm not sure why, but unless someone with good skills and equipment can provide a solution, I'm out of luck on offering a fix.

With the Maxhaust Soundbooster, you are able to disable all the exhaust sound. I disable my exhaust sound when I am in comfort mode and its active when I go into sport mode.

How does it sound then in comfort mode? How much Exhaust sound do you hear, when accelerating?

BMW claims, in their service manual, that the exhaust flap reduces exhaust noise by 8dB, so I'd expect about an 8dB increase in noise over stock.
