So... technically, they didn't lose with the chinsy OT point (which, they really need to ditch).

Looking for the guy in the team that's injured that I can blame this loss on...don't seem to have one. I'll say it's a lack of rest followed by the hype of banner raising. Though...I seem to recall last years home opener going into OT with the Caps. Not sayin'...but I'm just sayin'.

10-1! WOW when was the last time there 10 goals scored? Pens were absolutely humiliated!

Can't remember. Kings won, took forever to get a goal. Still can't get a goal on the power play. Thank you Quick!

I've been occupied with the fires--see the fire thread in OT. I've been on facebook most of the time lately as I have friends and family in the fire zone and places I grew up are completely wiped out.

Not ok and everyone is not safe. There have been more than 20 deaths and 300 people are missing. The fires are raging out of control.

I meant immediate family is safe, I hope. Prayers for all affected though.

Tragic about the centenarians who slept in different rooms and he didn?t quite make it back to hers before they both perished

Right now my parents are ok--they live in the western hills of Sonoma. It's the Eastern Hills that are on fire now....but the way this thing is going it has a chance to take out the whole town. Two houses I grew up in in Glen Ellen are completely gone....but, this is off topic for a hockey thread--I just wanted to clarify for you.

Tomorrow, lets see if the Sharks can win one!
