It's just a horrible day when you realize the choice you have to make is an E63 S Touring. But sometimes these are the kind of things you have to live with. Poor bugger.

Lol, as much as I love the E63S I would never buy one, not at the price they're charging. I was just saying if I'm gonna spend close to 100k on a V8 X5, might as well go big or go home with an AMG wagon for an extra 10, but that would literally be overkill and over budget.

CPO? I'm in a weird little pocket of my town where there are ten or twelve E63 wagons, things are everywhere. Of course one of my neighbors also has a six cylinder X5 with an M badge in it. Maybe just fake it with an E450?

I hadn't even thought about CPO, so I just did a quick search and looks like its a very small market. 17 used W213 AMG E-Wagon's on Cars.com and Autotrader, and 1 CPO, which is gorgeous but has the hard as a rock track seats. Most seem to be $90k+ used (even with 20k miles!), and shockingly 3 of them already had 2 owners, and 2 were lemon/buy-backs and they're still priced insane. I would imagine since these are already low-volume vehicles, as well as most being build only/personal spec, that a lot of owners plan on keeping long-term and leases haven't ended yet, not to mention they hold their value better than the sedan. The Canadians are so lucky that they get the E53 Wagon.
