Say what you will, like it or not, side by side it does cause the X5 to look outdated. Some of us don't mind that but I know a lot of BMW owners purchase the newer look regardless.

Wow really cool. Australia also uses BMW cars for highway patrolling particularly in Melbourne.

It's packed full of sensors. It's even got a heating element to keep the grille frost-free to allow uninterrupted operation.

I think the presence of sensors has been noted, several times. The question for some of us is whether, in the absence of an actual ICE, the grills needed to look like something off the back of a T72 tank.
