Say what you will, like it or not, side by side it does cause the X5 to look outdated. Some of us don't mind that but I know a lot of BMW owners purchase the newer look regardless.

I believe the iX m50i top speed is 200km/hr
Why is that important?
iX cop cars will make escapes much easier. You don't even need 250 mile/hr
He was making a joke about the range, not top speed.

Wow really cool. Australia also uses BMW cars for highway patrolling particularly in Melbourne.

Found the below in the BMW cars of Victoria group. Their newest addition to the fleet.

It's packed full of sensors. It's even got a heating element to keep the grille frost-free to allow uninterrupted operation.

I think the presence of sensors has been noted, several times. The question for some of us is whether, in the absence of an actual ICE, the grills needed to look like something off the back of a T72 tank.

It's BMW's current design language. Those of us who have owned BMW's over the years will know this is completely normal.
Look how many people thought the F30 was ugly when it was first released. Doesn't take long for the rest to start copying and suddenly everyone likes it.
