Full-screen CarPlay?

I currently have a 2018 M3 and I'm considering an i3s. One thing I can't stand about the iDrive system is that it essentially cuts the screen in half when using CarPlay.

Fortunately, the latest BMW models give every pixel to CarPlay. Is that the case with the current i3?

Has to be MY18 or later for Full screen CarPlay on i3.
