Gear Lever not lighting up

Anyone have a problem with the gear lever light occasionally not lighting up? I'm talking about that green rectangle that shows what gear your in. It happens randomly and wasn't sure if this was a common problem or not.

Happened to mine.
Dealer told me it's a warranty issue, something to do with the led in the gear level. They replaced me a brand new geae lever as part of the warranty.

Mine has the same problem for about 6 months. Been too lazy to take it in to fix.

Had the same issue. Also noticed a wrong indication of lever position (e. g. showing P instead of D)
Lever has been replaced on warranty.
