One question about this firmware version:
I noticed that on 11/2022.64 (my current version) I lost one functionality I really like, the one that displays automatically the wide angle camera view (or panoramic) when you get to a location that you had previously stored. In my case, when going out from my garage, for example.
This worked great for me prior to 11/2022.64, now it doesn't. Has any of you with the newer version tried if it works as it should again?

Same (v3/2023.45). In fact today, when I drove up to a checkpoint and rolled down my window, as I drove away I got a popup asking me if I wanted to save the GPS location to automatically roll down next time, and I don't recall seing that before.

Is this some kind of setting. Two iX 50s and now two 60s, and we have never had the cars prompt asking if we want to automatically do anything or save anything

Go into the Doors and Windows app in iDrive and you’ll find some settings to Activate the windows automatically being rolled down at certain GPS locations.

As darylp310 said, there's a setting to automatically roll down the driver's window based on GPS (and I've used it) - I just never had a popup prompt from the car to activate it. And how did it "know" I might want to do that, as opposed to just rolling the window down to say, let out a bee? Or toss out my dirty laundry? Another Teutonic mystery....

I think it is based on repetition, if it detects that you've rolled down your window several times at the very same location, then, it may ask.

Maybe reduce the number of times going thru McDonald’s drive-thru? 🤣

I received the 03/2023.53 update on out M60 last night (located in NZ). All went smoothly and our car was updating from 03/2023.45.

Release do seem to refer to the drivetrain errors we had been having:

"Quality measure: Avoiding incorrect diagnosis
The current software version of your vehicle may mean that an incorrect diagnosis can result in a Check Control message: "Continue driving with caution - drive system faulty". This malfunction is rectified by the upgrade."

Either you did a typo or you went backwards by one full year.

I had a negative experience, the car stayed in reverse, even though it displayed D and I toggled to R and Back, no succes. Had to shut down, restart I put it in drive it reversed still but a toggle to R and back resolved it, quite scary …

Stayed in reverse, as in, went backwards on accelerating while displaying D in the instrument cluster and console? That's a definite dealer visit and reportable, even if one-of....
