Remote Software Update Missing

Hi, today I decided to take a look in the car to double check my current Software version and check to see if anything new was pushed.
I went to system Settings and the remote Software menu is missing.
I tried resetting the I Drive and nothing.
Any thoughts??
Thanks

What version are you are now? Mine disappeared too, but I believe the seat module reprogramming was holding it up. It’s at the dealer right now. I have been stuck on 11/2022.44 ever since I’ve had it. Either way, you’ll need to take it into your dealer. You won’t receive any OTA updates until they fix whatever the underlying problem is that’s holding it up.

Interestingly enough, my 12/22 built iX came with 11/2022.30 installed. When I got home from taking delivery, I checked for an update and updated to 11/2022.64 OTA without a hitch.

Meanwhile my M850i is still on 07/2021.85 because it either has to cool down to do the update or I'm parked on an incline and it won't update when the car is not on a flat surface due to concerns about e-brake releasing causing the car to roll. BMW won't do an OTA upgrade on the ICE (Twin Turbo V8's) cars until the engine reaches a certain temp which was never a problem with the X5 inline-6.

I'm glad the iX doesn't have the Goldilocks problem.

But you still have to be on a flat surface - not that I would know because I’ve never received one!. 😂😂😂

Yeah...our B8 Alpina has all kinds of absurd conditions that must be met before OTA. The first time we saw them, we could not believe BMW did that

Go to this website and plug-in your VIN. I guarantee you there’s an open campaign for seat module reprogramming. Note that this is not a BMW-owned website, but it does query their systems. Or you can just call your service advisor and give them your VIN and they will come back with any open campaigns that are holding up your OTA updates. No matter what the results, a trip to the service department is in your future. Some updates can’t be done remotely.

03/2023.53 is out…. There is probably something else holding up the vehicle from being updated. Many people are receiving OTA dates from those two versions.
