I assume all car reviews on youtube are effectively advertising, especially when they are getting access to new vehicle models.

That said, did you see the BMW fast charger in the parking lot. That was definitely not a confidence booster.....

Another review, shows how much the rear tires turn (20:45 mark).

Interesting review goes into detail on buttons and other items most reviewers skip. Also shows closeup of the 22" tire package.

On my phone, using 2 different browsers, in normal mode, it blocks me. If I open a private/incognito tab, it loads the story just fine in both.

On my desktop, in normal tabs, it loads just fine in one browser and blocked on another. Likely to do with how they are using tracking stuff on their site and my normal browser used a built in ad-blocker and blocks trackers as well, so it may be wy it works on that one.

On the one it gets blocked, using a private/incognito tab makes it load fine. So try just doing that.

In the review he said all the cameras were unusable due to snow and dirt buildup. Are the camera cleaners not available on N.A spec vehicles, or was he just not aware of them?

As i mentioned earlier, it was a overall pretty bad review IMHO.

What they said was "Don’t get too used to all the technology, though. When the weather’s bad, the cameras and sensors have a hard time seeing through the snow and crud and will shut down.".

It is true that parking sensors regularly don't work when there is snow or ice that accumulates on them. You typically get a warning when that happens. It can happen to the radar too. But for the driver assistance tech, The front radar is heated. The front cameras get cleaned by the wipers and are heated. Also, although I would think they are not used for it, the front parking camera can be cleaned manually along with the rear one.

So one of a few things could have happened....either they left the car out in a snowstorm and let snow and ice accumulate enough that the radar was covered even with the heater. Perhaps ice accumulated on their wipers and couldn't clear the camera area properly... But what I think was much more likely is that the system, as it is in every other BMW, is conservative and deactivates when the roads get covered in snow and it cannot properly determine where the lanes are.

That is how it should behave.

just add the youtube link in your reply with nothing special around it.
like this:

and the forum will automatically wrap it with URL tags for you.

If instead you just want the link without the embed, then use a link like this by clicking the insert link button:
