If anything, this just further solidifies the fact that Mercedes is ahead of everyone else. I look at "Party Mode" as something Mercedes can do while other teams can't because those other teams potentially lack the reliability to run this during qualifying while preserving their cars for race day. F1 can remove or ban this qualifying mapping but Mercedes is so advanced and ahead, I'm sure they'll come up with something else.

Laurent nearly collected MULTIPLE OTHER CARS in this massive shunt....he simply mis-judged the driver's left side of the track and placed the LF and LR tires on....grass.

Such an incredible tribute and massive reminder of the unbelievable safety tht is inherent in motorsport today....this was unsurvivable not that long ago.
