Right? I always thought that whenever commercials would state that 4 out of 5 doctors agree.....I feel like the 1 doctor in disagreeance should have his phone number listed, for those like us.

I have this feeling that the 4 "doctors" are not really doctors. Or, they're doctors in some 3rd world country. And of course, compensated for their opinions.

Why buy a defibrillator when you could just start having more sex…

If I wanted to use a quack/fraud doctor, it would be to sign off on my competition license physical so that I would have a reason to live again! Facing reality, I took a fall during one of my hourly trips to the bathroom Friday evening, tackling our 5-gallon water cooler on my way to the floor and making a huge spring water puddle to mop up. There's no way that I want to put corner workers, fellow competitors, or spectators in danger...not to mention the personal liability.

As I say, racing and sex are not spectator sports! You have to be in the driver's seat to truly enjoy either.....

Yes. My last hospital stay ended my 20+ year amateur motorsports "career" when the doctors forbade me to even attend events as a spectator. In all seriousness, I handed my cardiologist a competition license physical form...and he returned a signed handicapped parking permit application the next day.

Our wedding was in the paddock at an event, and we ran a parade lap before the event started with cans tied to the trailer hitch. My rolodex is full of racing buddies and event organizers. I have organized competition events in three states, held just about every office in two regional motorsports clubs, and taught safety classes at locations over 200 miles in every direction from home. My doctors made me give up my only reason to live -- cold turkey.

No worry about my hip. The 5-gallon water jug broke my fall. Probably cost me the $3.00 bottle deposit from crushing it, though.....
