Apple Watch - Series 5 - Bluetooth Question

I got a Series 5 and am having difficulty getting it to discover my Roku Smart Soundbar that I have for my TV on my Lanai.

Some other facts:

My iPhone does discover and connect to the Roku Soundbar via bluetooth and I had zero issues from day 1.
My watch discovered and connected to my AirPods with no issues.
My watch discovered and connected to my Bose Mini with no issues.
My watch wont even discover the Roku Soundbar it just says it is "searching".

Troubleshooting I have tried so far:

Removed my Roku Soundbar from my iPhone and tried to connect my watch; no luck.
Toggled Airplane Mode on/off as was suggested; no luck
Rebooted the watch and soundbar; no luck

Since I could connect to other bluetooth devices with the exception of the Roku that would lead me to believe Apple and Roku have a bluetooth issue but that theory doesn't hold water since my iPhone will connect to the Roku. The only thing that could come into play there is the bluetooth on the iPhone is a different version than the watch but that doesnt make since given the watch is an extension of your iPhone.

At this point I'm scratching my head.

Anybody run into this or have any thoughts?

Oh, and Merry Xmas guys and gals.

Are you running the latest watchOS? Also you will need to update to the latest iOS on the phone and any firmware update on the Roku.

If you have a phone, why not just connect it to the speaker? You can still control playback from the watch.

I only use BT for my August lock and it works great about 75% of the time but refuses to communicate about 25% of the time. And yeah, always on the latest OS.

OS is up to date on all three devices; Watch, iPhone and Roku. No luck.

Regarding why not use the phone. The point in getting the watch was I did not want to be tethered to my phone all time.

I may stop by an Apple store and see what they say.
