Wink Is your i8 too quiet next to the Lambo?

I have your solution- I recently purchased a ArQuray Titanium Muffler designed for the i8 identical to the one used Turner motor sport
and by Essing with the Stage 1 ECU upgrade.
The muffler is great workmanship incredible titanium welds and light and adds 15+HP. New it sells over $4K . I will sell it in its original Box for $2500 + shipping cost

Considering it takes about 2 i8s to equal the same (dollar) amount of 1 lambo (cheapest model at that) seems about right.

At that price it is a good buy, though I have enough cars that make lots of noise, I kind of like the fact that the i8 is quiet.

VAC Motorsports is in my area, if I remember right they mostly do 3 series and Mini stuff. I did not think they would touch an i8.

Folks
I get no satisfaction in making up stories
You can verify with Armand and Brian at Vacmotors I had the i8 shipped from another location to do the upgrade
You can verify with Antoine at Essing for the sale of the kit.
Finally I personally don't care whether it is 3.1 or 4.0- if you believe the m -laptimer of the BMW connected drive
I will try to uploaded it from my computer i tried from my phone but I can't - so look at the laptimer
I did the upgrade so I don't have to deal with the 911s at the stoplight. So far I am very happy and honestly I don't care if you buy the muffler or not

The 3 cyl will never sound like a supercar no matter what exhaust you throw in...
I like my i8 duality with the Maxhaust Active exhaust...perfectly quaiet most of the time, incredible maserati v8 sound when I need it.

When it's being used as a selling point, it is fair to challenge the accuracy of the statement. It is not to simply antagonize, but to set expectations.
