Do you not carry health insurance or anything like that?

Cars are cool, so when I saw they had seatbelt wallets I wanted in on that. It's pretty rugged; I've had it maybe 8 years at this point, and still looks fine.

I've had a ridge wallet for five or so years and don't see myself changing anytime soon.

One thing that is annoying is my metal cards wear pretty quickly but I do carry quit a few cards with me.

Probably weird to some, but the only time I carry a wallet is on vacation. I haven't daily carried a wallet in over 5 years. All my credit cards and even ID are stored on my iPhone. I'll usually keep a few hundred bucks in my center console incase I'm out of my area and need fuel and they don't take digital.

License stays in my car.

I'm too forgetful to have a wallet. iPhone on the other hand is with me 24/7 lol

Stored on your iPhone? What about places that require swipe or chip? Don't take Apple Pay? And what locations accept digital copies of ID?

Leaving a drivers license in your car is fine if you have only one car. Dangerous if you travel, as you could fly off and leave your license behind which makes it hard to rent a car at the other end.

I guess it works for you though. I was wondering how people get by with so little in their wallets, but most of how people get by I couldn't do. Things like my green card I'm required by law to carry to prove my rightful presence here in the US. One extra thing to carry.

Like I said, when I travel I carry a wallet. Most states are OK with digital identification, but do your research. FL seems to not care.

Not to mention, I rarely make in person purchases these days. I do all banking, grocery, retail, etc.. online, rarely eat out, and when I do I'll just use cash, but all my usual spots take apple pay. I mean, its worked for the past 5 years lol

When you say digital identification, you mean things like insurance in a specific app, or are you meaning you have a photo of your drivers license? I know some states are even issuing digital drivers licenses, but I'm not sure Texas would accept a photo.

And yeah - the rest of your life is not like mine. I'm not exactly out and about all the time, but I work from home so shopping and eating out with friends is all I get to do, and other than Whole Foods, nowhere I know of takes Apple Pay.

I did actually buy this for real, for myself and a friend that turned me on to Pulp Fiction back in ~1995 or so.

A green bill ("of rights" ) should do. But I know it wouldn't: they are frequently reluctant to take their dollars back (I mean shopping online), like "We've got this shit galore, don't bother.".

This is interesting. Don't be shy (or forget) about a bag of cash in your trunk.

Regarding a wallet , I only need to carry it on the seashore. As cards are shit and cash is everything I needed a wallet with a coin pocket. I also wanted it practical rather than luxury. With all that said, I chose BMW Yachtsport one:

Name: bmw-yachtsport-wallet.jpg
Views: 724
Size: 18.7 KB

. I don't really like the branding, but if anyone dares to ask I'll say it's the only BMW (and all about yachting ) I have. As I don't take my car there it will be pretty true under the circumstances. Apart from it's name the wallet has all I need: compartments for big notes (only a few! ), change notes, coins, keys. Card slots are extra. It's quite sturdy besides washing: the silver text is smudged a bit. And no, I don't need to carry any ID or a phone there.

exactly because I'd hate to share those. Although marine theme looks appropriate for the seaside where I only use the wallet. By the way, I would also believe BMW Yachtsport, "The Formula 1 of sailing", is rather a professional thing while the accessory collection is apparently intended for a wider audience than those involved. Say, for yachting enthusiasts.
