We collect ours around Xmas so wondering if I need to hunt out some winter wheels / tyres

No idea, but the i8 I test drove (see i8 Review thread) struggled going up a v steep drive in the dry, when one driven wheel was lifted.

I was surprised because I expected it to utilise its 4WD capabilities. It did not do that.

I will be interested in reports of whether it can/does use its 4WD capability for traction in snow.


PS. xmas collection....did you order a long time ago?

Mine is coming in October. I live in Boston so also concerned about snow. Bridgestone has announced that they are making blizzaks, so I hope that will help.
