Rear bumper

Hi all,

I'm planning to dismantle my rear bumper next weekend to prep and paint the blue accent to frozen grey. The whole bumper seems to have one part number, so do you know if it's possible to split the accent, or better to just mask and paint in situ?

I'll remove the centre bumper section. Just wondered if the blue accent can be removed from the main bumper.

Anyone painted thiers?

Thanks!

It's one part number because its one panel and can't be separated.

mmmm....

While the front kidneys (clipped in!) do not have any basic painting (e. g. Crystal white) and can be ordered in blue or grey, the rear cover cannot. Same for the side cover.
So rear and/or side must be painted twice after ordering it. Basic color and accent.
It's hard to believe that they really do so...

Maybe the just don't want you to know a part no.(?)

I know its one part and is painted twice with a black base and then the matt accent as I've been unfortunate enough to have to have mine removed twice and repainted!

Looks good as new now though lol!
