Using I15 Hood air ducts on I12 model

So I have damaged I8 coming soon. It has damaged hood and air ducts. And I was wondering if its save to install new type of air ducts onto older car. Won't there be issues with cooling it down? Screen attached shows different ducts.

I read somewhere to not upgrade new model hood to old model due to overheating.
