Wonder if the new key they announced will be compatible. although it looks pretty huge.

My 2015 says production is finished & ready to ship! can't wait..

Good. I was really wondering if they were going to be the first company ever to produce new cars with a model year from the past year (i.e. building 2014s in 2015). They already came close to being one of the only modern car companies to put a new model out that wasn't labeled the following year's model. Other cars with MY2016 should be selling soon if they aren't already. (It's not obvious that I think it was dumb to launch a 2014 model in late Sept/Early Oct 2014, is it?) I've stopped correcting people because not a single person has thought it was a 2014 when I say I bought it a couple months back. It will be easier for you.

When it arrives we need a meetup. I know of at least 3 of us now in West L.A.

Not yet. I'm a geezer and those things are new fangled to me.

That would be 4 on the Westside. I'm going to suggest a meet up at the Calabasas Commons and I'll take you all down Mulholland Highway to the Pacific Ocean. Great drive,

The more pressing question is if we can indeed retrofit or activate it on our 2014 models....and now to get that darn key to work with our MY as well!

Anybody has good information and/or relationships?
