Parking fiasco

I hate to do this, but I got to report on a situation I witnessed last night.

Went for a little jog. Got back to my house and noticed this driver acting wired, couldn't tell exactly what was happening. I'd just looked at my watch to see how long I had run, so this is no fabrication.

At least 60 feet of curb with no obstructions. Driver was trying to parallel park. Reverse lights come on, 30 seconds, move a little, forward, wait several more, try to park. I was about to call the PD to come get this person, it was 12 MINUTES before this woman got out of the car. 12 MINUTES!!!???? I stood there dazed, but wanted to make sure my mailbox didn't get creamed.

Haha reminds me of this video I saw of a lady trying to park in a parking space. After a couple of minutes the driver waiting to get across gets out of his car and tells the lady to get out and parks her car, then he gives her the key and leaves.

I almost went over to park it for her, but I wasn't sure if it was a she or a drunk, and there were a bunch of people in the neighbor's yard laughing and drinking Bud Light, so I just watched my mailbox.

It never ceases to amaze you.

It's like watching someone pull out of a parking space in a super-compact car. They make like three moves before driving off because they have no concept of space or the size of their car.

I swear at least once a week I see someone in the garage at work with a super small car leave 50 feet in front of them but their car sticks out in the road you have to avoid it. I have left a note telling people to learn to park.

Well, at that time it made it very difficult to exit my parking spot.
