Anyone been to The Melting Pot?

these girls wanna go but it seems expensive as fock. I mean ususally I'll spend like $60 on dinner taking a girl out but $94 for a couple seems kinda high?.. is it worth it? or am I reading the Menu wrong?...
the reason I ask is I can find a lot better things to do for $100 with a chick and she'll be way happier.

$90 for the dinner ain't too expensive.
But for the fondue, yes it is bit expensive. I've been to this place and food wasn't too great for my taste and for the money.
But then, fondue somehow creates this romantic mood so......

Anyways, melting pot doesn't worht $100 for me.

great place....my ex-g/f and I ussed to go there all the time....

nice place for a date.....only bad thing....when your done eating there you friggin reak of that place!

yea well you dont necessary burn it....its fondue..so you basically choose the flavor or "cooking style" as they so eloquently call it. Its basically a pot with a broth..and you cook your food in that (lobster, steak, chicken, shrimp....)..so if anything you'll overcook it....which sucks.

IMHO, I would go just for appetizer (cheese) & dessert fondues. The entree fondues are really not that good. Wine list at a few isn't too bad.
