Um no. I'm 44, 3rd house, paid for, live alone, children are adults, work 55-60 hours a week (Project Coordinator/Lean Manufacturing Project guy), gym 1 1/2 hours - 5 days a week and a smoking, hot ass, girlfriend.

"Busy" doesn't come close.

I used to spend copious amounts of time on here. Now it's just when I need a breather from running in circles.

This is a joke, or an excuse, right?

Because either system is less expensive than almost any repair to your Bimmer or Audi if and when it fails.....

Most things with me are a joke. And it is never "if", it is only "when". If conveys an uncertainty that neither brand is deserving of. Toyota on the other hand...

Valid points. I do believe my X1 35i is my first, and last BMW. For a car that had an original MSRP in the mid to high 40's, it should be more reliable. Or at least have more comforts/luxuries in it. (Yes, I admit, I knew about the lackluster sound system, the boring controls etc and I bought it because it fit my niche, I wanted a 300+ HP AWD small suv that I could use to get stuff at the hardware store or furniture, if needed. I just didn't expect them to need complete rebuilding by 100k miles.

I'll probably end up with an Xbox Series X. My one X just died (HDMI retiming chip) and playing on the One S just looks like a console from yesteryear. Looks like I need an AirSoldering Gun to fix it, which is more expensive than just buying another console.

So after 11 months of trying on and off, I finally got a PS5. Is there any reason I should keep my PS4 Pro?

I got the OG PS4 and then upgraded to the Pro as soon as it came out so yes, I think my PS4 Pro is also five years old. It still runs great, but the PS5 is truly buttery smooth and I like that I can play my PS4 games. So I’m thinking I sell the PS4 since I no longer have two homes.

I bought both PS5 and Xbox series S. My takeaway is that I play the latter a lot more due to gamepass, that's a sick proposition.
Feel kind of guitly that my PS5 is catching dust mostly :\

I'm way biased, but deffo PS5!

I've always been a PlayStation guy, so easy for me! Just looks alone! Microsoft didn't really try very hard haha.

I would say PS5 or build a nice PC over the XBOX.

Idk, I had both at one point (sold the Series X only because GF bought me PS5 and didn't have space to keep both on my desk). PS5 is def lacking when it comes to Party Chat, Apps, & Game Pass.

I've decided to go with a Series X over the PS5. Game Pass is intriguing, but ultimately the biggest sway for me was confirmation that Bethesda is going to start doing Xbox exclusives now...which I fear will be most of the games I like, so might as well get the Xbox now.

If it were not for that, honestly, I would have stuck with PS.

I’ll definitely agree with that though. PlayStation app, party system, is BAD. It used to be better, so I’m not sure what they were thinking with the update. It’s supposed to provide more privacy, but ends up just adding extra layers of difficulty to party up.

I will definitely say the PS5 looks SOOOO much cooler/nicer than the xbox. But I'll stick with the new xbox because the party/online setup is much better, plus the gamepass and console exclusives make it hard to change.

I got both, I gave the Xbox to my younger brother and kept the PS5 mainly bc the Xbox was made redundant by my gaming PCs. I have 3 desktop rigs with 2080ti on a 34" AW UW monitor @ 120hz, a 3070 in my theater hooked up to a Sony 715es and one in my main Livingroom with a 2070s hooked into an 85" Sony 950h which I usually run at 120hz @ 1080p. The PS5 is hooked into the TV. I'm waiting for GT7, at that point I'll take out the sim rig and hook the PS5 into that. Even if I didn't have the PCs i would still opt for the PS5 bc the exclusives are better imo. Last gen i wound up giving away my 1X but player the PS4 Pro a decent amount bc of the exclusives.

Both consoles are great. You choose - in my opinion - that console wich more friends are playing with and what more exclusive game are avaliable for that plattform. I preffer ps5, but Forza Horizon 5 on XB Series X looks really nice
