man.......I saw the preview for this in IMAX and was fucking more excited to see this then The Dark Knight haha........

I thought it was the fucking justice league.. was disapointed as hell, I've never read/ seen the 'Watchmen' before though... but i'll admit, it looks like its about to kick ass.. I'm excited for the next bond too, I almost skeeted when I saw the DBS again!

zomg dude, Quantum of Solace!!! Looks sooo bad ass! Pineapple Express looks awesome too, and now this Watchmen......good movies coming out man! But This watchmen isnt due till march 09

I'm looking forward to this too, but I really don't see how it's going to work. There is too much content in the book for a 2-3 hour movie. They're either going to miss stuff, or try to cram it all - both will be confusing for fans of the book.

No, it will be confusing for people that haven't read the graphic novel - they won't be able to fill in the blanks.

People that have read it will simply be pissed about the stuff they leave out. I can tell you right now, if I were writing a script treatment I'd simply trim almost all of the un-needed backstory - Rorschach's psychotherapy , most of Laurie and her mother, the previous Nite Owl, most of the flashbacks to the Minutemen, etc.

I don't, but I'm glad to be living in a time when SFX are good enough to do them justice. Some of the stuff from when I was a kid was just sad.
