Like the 4er, this issue isn't necessarily the grille. It's the bumper design. There's way too much bumper space from below the headlight and down.

I like it. It's one of the better looking premium EV's.

As Adrian van Hooydonk stated in his walkthrough, it's definitely "A loft on wheels". Those seats look like they have almost zero bolster.

the seats are one of the hardest things I feel designers have to face. its such a individual lane based off so many different factors and taste. I guess we will have to wait to sit in it and see.

I'm not a fan of the super thin headlight design. looks like someone squinting, doesn't do it for me.

I'm still having a conflict with the mischaracterization of this vehicle as an "SUV".

I'm not completely sold on this exterior. Interior looks very nice. Overall, I would consider it. Especially with a 500 mile range! If it's the same size of a X5, that's perfect! EV is not going away! They are only on the rise. Which is definitely a good thing for this one and only planet we live on.
We definitely need more variety and options. Welll done BMW.

For the people collectively holding their breaths for a G2X/G8X LCI grill change...

Stop holding your breaths or look for another car manufacturer. The big deal BMW is making over the i4 and iX should tell you all you need to know.

I personally think it's a great total package. Some of the front end styling shortcomings are made up elsewhere (rear, interior, technology).

Not going away, but it won't be replacing ICE for a very long, long time. The infrastructure, convenience and cultural acceptance just aren't there. Not even close. That said, it's a nice premium EV.

Love the interior, not so much the exterior. if it has 500 mile range with fast charging, I will consider it. As long as the size is the same as X5 or between X5 and X7.

Did anyone observe that the door rubber can be seen through the doors windows? Is this is "premium" to you?
That door extension without window also looks cheap.
The interior screen is horrendous. Yuck!

Isn't this a pre-production model? I would doubt that makes it to line cars.
