Ambient Light problem

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2015 i8 and noticed that the ambient light in the doors doesnt work. The rest works fine but the doors is dead it seems.

I tried to read up on what to do but couldnt find a concrete answer for it.

Anyone has any ideas of what it can be?
Or what the price would be to fix it?

I started a similar thread some time back and I will post it here:

Essentially, after I brought it to a shop they diagnosed that it was a loose fuse and they had to just reconnect the fuse.

I would recommend looking into the fuse box on the passenger side by the footwell and checking the fuses before you bring it into the shop. It can simply be as easy as that.

Anyone know wich fuse might be linked to the Ambient Light?
Its not the one for the interior light or the ones that has to do with the headlights etc. Can it be linked to something else?

Hello,

Also check your lighting setting in the idrive console. I find that unless it is set to extended that the door lighting is turned off. Just an FYI in an case. Sorry for redundant info if you already played with the settings and its still not working.
