Many events were free, or you had to cover 50% of hotel costs, but more recently there seems to be a bit of a charge (400-500 euros). Given that many of the events are experiences that could cost £1500+ they are definitely worth it.

I think they may have started charging a little fee to make sure only people who are genuinely interested in the event sign up to avoid people booking everything and cancelling at the last minute.

I've been to 5 events now, enjoyed them all, met some great people and had a good laugh along the way. When I purchased the car I did not realise I would get the PI membership so for me I try to get the most out of it.
