CarPlay not connecting since BMW update

I updated my i4 yesterday to 11/2023.73. I drove it for the first time today and cannot connect via CarPlay to my iPhone 14 Pro, latest iOS. I can connect to the BMW phone and music capabilities. I tried removing the phone and pairing it again with no luck. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any steps to try to get this to work that others have had success with?

I read on another i4 forum to solve the CarPlay issue after the recent BMW update, turn off your wifi on the phone and then try to connect to the car. You will get a message pop up on the iPhone saying to turn wifi on to connect to wifi. Hit the button to turn wifi on. After that, the CarPlay connection worked.
