12v Battery Replacement

Hi, my 12v batteris dead. I picked up a new one from the dealership. DO i need to do anything special to install? Someone said something about registering the battery - dealership charger $200. geez. I have Bimmercode and BimmerLink

You need to register the new battery. You should be able to do it with BimmerLink assuming you are replacing it with the same spec capacity, etc.

THank you. i guess i can google how to do that :-)

Battery is plugged in - trying to see if there is a drain or something i didnt know about.
