Hi All,
Followed the ‘Pat’s Garage’ DIY to keep the exhaust valve open all the time- even in comfort mode. Dead easy. The increase in noise is perfect to my eye. I have always had M cars so the lack of noise in the cabin on comfort mode when the engine is on has been a little strange to get used to. Removing fuse 58 on full throttle means the valve stays open all the time and I think it’s now the right balance. Less noise than in sport mode as I am guessing the sound coming through the speakers is reduced in comfort mode. Sounds the same in sport to my ear.
I will be keeping fuse 58 out for a while anyway!
