Hello,

I have had ongoing REx malfunctions on my 2018 S REx engine. I just past the original 4 year warranty and I had error codes for REx.

Does anyone know if the REx is covered by the long term-8 yr/100k miles warranty in the US? Is that part of the total drivetrain warranty?

The following components and/or systems are covered under the Federal Emission Warranty for a period of 15 years or 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
AUXILIARY POWER UNIT (APU)

The REx engine is also called the APU.

If you live in a CARB state, then you might get additional coverage in that 15/150K time period.
