How to install the OEM BMW spoiler on your i8
I ordered the OEM Rear Spoiler for my BMW i8 and decided to record the installation process. This is not a cheap spoiler, compared to the front splitters I previously installed. However, it gives it a more completed, but subtle, look.

Cool, but what purpose did you add the spoiler for?
Does it do a set amount downforce and how does this work with other aero pieces? I'm wondering what the goal is? Dial in understeer? |

I decided to purchase for a mild aesthetic improvement. I typically do not purchase aftermarket parts to modify the appearance of vehicles but this stood out to me and I decided to purchase it. The spoiler does provide some downforce, as proven by air tunnel tests by BMW, from what I've heard. I don't know how much it affects understeer. I corrected understeer by increasing the front tire width by 30mm and added the spoiler afterward.
