British motor journalist. Search "Chris Harris on Cars" on youtube for some of his recent stuff. He did work for AutoCar then EVO. He was posting pictures from a BMW i event in LA on his twitter account.

The Australian article I found yesterday and posted a thread on also mentioned that they will get to drive the i8 the first week of May, I think.

So perhaps we will see some reviews/first drives from a bunch of sources in the coming weeks. Looking forward to it.

Let's hope so. Sounds about right too, seen as Dealership Launch for the i8 is 19th July. i.e. let journos have a blast in the car, let them take photos and do a write-up, then publish it in a mag... just in time to drum up public interest and then hold local launches for the public to see the car in real life.

Local dealer says they just got their 90 day allocations for the M3/M4 deliveries extending to October, but still no i8.
