Definitely not going to be another i8.

I do not think BMW will every create a successor to the i8. They have already moved away from carbon tub, which was a key element to the i8 Design.

Future is electric SUV's and maybe a halo car in the next 10 years like the the z8 in 2001, i8 in 2014 and something special in the 2020's but not a direct successor. The way things are going it will probably be a Halo Electric SUV!
